Join us for an insightful Erasmus+ webinar: "Outreach Team and Housing First"
Time: 28.05.2025, 11.00 – 12.00 CET
Place: ZOOM
Outreach teams can play a crucial role in the success of the Housing First model by acting as the bridge between people experiencing homelessness and the support systems designed to help them.
Many individuals experiencing chronic homelessness are disconnected from the public service network due to past trauma, mental health challenges, or distrust. Outreach teams meet people where they are and begin the process of building trust. This relational groundwork is critical to moving someone into housing.
Arrels Fundació accompanies homeless people who are in the most advanced stages of exclusion and has been guaranteeing access to decent and stable housing to people living on the street for many years. The journey to maintaining housing can be complex and filled with challenges. The first step begins with the Outreach Team.
The webinar is part of an ongoing development and research project on the application of Housing First policies in Europe, funded by the European Commission's Erasmus+ program. The project is led by Sophia Housing from Ireland. Other partner organizations are Arrels Fundació (Spain), Housing First Berlin (Germany) and Y-Säätiö (Finland).
The participation is free of charge. Please register here:
